Beware, spoilers ahead! The final four spots in AoE All-Star League have been decided this week after two rounds of Qualification games. The top four seeds, BacT, DauT, Slam and Liereryy all vanquished the challengers and set up the even more thrilling match-ups next week. Liereryy and BacT progressed with two straight wins while Slam was slightly troubled by Miguel. However, the games between DauT and Lyx were not played due to Lyx’s internet connection, which resulted in the admin win for DauT.

Next week the main tournament will begin with TatoH, the highest ranked player in AoEHD, vs. the top seed of qualifiers BacT. There will be also Slam vs. Nicov, DauT vs, Tim and TheViper, the undefeated champion of the Elimination Draft event, vs the young gun Austrian Liereryy, Be ready for the thrill. Let the real show begin!

– Thank you to Poledancer for writing the summaries!

Game 1

Map: Nomad
Civilization: Vikings

Slam went for fast Castle and his mangonels + spearmen + monks stormed through Miguel’s base. Miguel, who had put most of his resources into water control, had almost no army. Miguel managed to push back a bit but could not sustain very long with the corner location where mega booming was nearly impossible.

Game 2

Map: Baltic
Civilization: Vietnamese

Miguel hunted down all of Slam’s fish ships in the Feudal Age, which gave him an advantage on economy. Slam went for 2 forward archery ranges but his archers had to return to his base to clean up Miguel’s archers. After Castle Age, Slam tried to push again with crossbowmen + mangonels but couldn’t do much under Miguel’s solid defence. In the end, Slam resigned when his economy was too far behind Miguel.

Game 3

Map: Baltic
Civilization: Indians

All fights happened on water. The war of galleys was pretty even during the Feudal Age but Slam upgraded to war galleys a bit earlier than Miguel, which eventually earned him the victory of this game.

Game 1

Map: Steppe
Civilization: Chinese

dogao’s archer rush in the Feudal Age did not cause much damage when BacT had already fully walled for fast Castle. As the mangonel kept the enemy archers away from his base, BacT went straight to the Imperial Age and pushed into dogao’s base with Trebuchets and Cavaliers.

Game 2

Map: Highland
Civilization: Franks

BacT snipped dogao’s fish ships and a villager in the Feudal Age, which brought him an advantage on economy. Both went for fast Imperial Age strategy and BacT upgraded earlier. Dogao didn’t survive for too long after BacT’s hand cannoneers and Bombard cannons marched to dogao’s base.

Game 1

Map: Baltic
Civilization: Vietnamese

Liereryy had the advantage on water through the whole game but did not control water completely until the end of the match. F1re’s castles helped him hold for a while on land when Liereryy sneaked in crossbowmen and villagers to his base. The game was finished when Liereryy denied F1re’s last galleon attack.

Game 2

Map: Valley
Civilization: Goths

Even after using one restart, F1re still got a map which had all gold piles in the front. F1re went for Dark rush + fast Castle but Liereryy’s Fedual rush with Man-At-Arms + archers quickly overwhelmed him at 14th min.
