Beware, spoilers ahead!

After the first round of All-Star League, TheViper leads on the scoreboard with a 3-0 victory against Liereryy. Even though it looks like a one-side result, the intensive micro in game 3 is definitely worth a mention. Most of the fights happened between no more than five units from each side and in multiple locations including both water and land at the same time, which you would see the amazing micro and multi-tasking ability from both players.

On the other hand, DauT, Nicov and TaToH share the second place on the scoreboard after winning over their opponents with a 2-1score. In the game 3 between TatoH and Slam, both player showed amazing macro and micro skills which kept the thrill going till the end.

The coming sets for the next week will be Nicov vs TaToH, BacT vs Tim, Liereryy vs Slam and TheViper vs DauT. Wanna more hype? Tune in next Sunday at 15 GMT!

Game 1

Map: Nomad
Civilization: DauT – Burmese
                     Tim – Burmese

When DauT’s monks + mangonels marched to Tim’s base, it was too difficult for Tim to fight back from the corner location. Both players had the same civilization and same strategy, but Tim was simply slower in everything due to lack of food in early stage.

Game 2

Map: Migration
Civilization: DauT – Italians
                     Tim – Italians

Both players went for fast Imperial age strategy. The war on the water was fairly even before the Imperial Age. However, DauT lost the first 8 villagers he sent to the central island to Tim’s monks and town center. With only one town center and limited resources, DauT resigned when his population was down to half of Tim’s.

Game 3

Map:  Arabia
Civilization: DauT – Indians
                     Tim – Huns

Tim took DauT’s berries, main gold and front stone with tower rush and three Men-At-Arm. DauT, then, performed his signature trick – crazy booming under pressure – and extended his base to the eastern side. Meanwhile, the war of scouts + skirmishers kept going on in the middle field. The final battle, Tim’s forty cavalry archers + sieges vs DauT’s ten camels + 25 elite skirmishers, looked promising for Tim in the beginning but eventually it was DauT’s defensive castle decided the victory.

 Game 1

Map: Valley
Civilization: BacT – Goths
                  TaToH – Goths

The long Feudal war started with Men- At-Arm and was switched to range units later. BacT also added few towers to TaToH’s base but it was not so effective. After the Castle Age, TaToH’s huskarls flooded over BacT’s base and sealed the victory for him.

Game 2

Map: Arabia
Civilization: BacT – Mayans
                  TaToH – Indians

The range units fight in the Feudal and Castle Age did not have much of an impact as they both fully walled. BacT switched into elite eagle warriors after advancing to the Imperial Age while TaToH stuck with elite skirmishers + hand cannoneers. It did take long for the elite eagle warriors which accompanied by siege to take down the enemy’s base.

Game 3

Map: Team Island
Civilization: BacT – Italians
                  TaToH –  Italians

BacT almost finished the game with his fire galleys in the Feudal Age but TaToH surprisingly managed to come back after moving his navy production to the back of the island. Later, TaToH sneaked a couple of barracks into the back of BacT’s island. BacT, however, had almost no land army to resist when TaToH’s condottieros stormed through.

Game 1

Map: Steppe
Civilization: TheViper – Britons
                     Liereryy – Britons

Liereryy’s scouting horse died to the enemy’s town center in the second minute. Both went for archers + skirmishers, the usual choice as Britons, in a Feudal war. TheViper already fully walled his base when Liereryy’s army arrived. On the other side, due to limited scouting, Liereryy could not wall his base properly. The game was quickly finished when TheViper’s twenty crossbowmen controlled Liereryy’s woodline and gold piles.

Game 2

Map: Arabia
Civilization: TheViper – Indians
                     Liereryy – Indians

Liereryy was going for standard Dark rush + fast Castle but forced to change his strategy to Feudal archers when TheViper’s scout rush came to him. TheViper added some skirmishers along with his scouts and perfectly destroyed Liereryy’s archers + scouts with his micro.

Game 3

Map: Team Island
Civilization: TheViper – Malay
                     Liereryy – Malay

Small but intense fights happened in multiple places at the same time during the Fedual Age. Liereryy almost took the water for a while but gradually lost the advantage after spending resources to counter TheViper’s sneaked-in knights. Liereryy also landed some knights to TheViper’s island but the damage was not as impressive. The game was decided when TheViper’s knights + pikemen + monks arrived in Liereryy’s base.

Game 1

Map: Valley
Civilization: Nicov – Vietnamese
                     Slam – Vietnamese

Slam’s skirmishers tried to break Nicov’s palisade wall in the Feudal Age but it wasn’t successful and the skirmishers were mostly cleaned by Nicov’s knights after the Castle Age. Then, Slam switched to Rattan Archers and dropped a forward castle at Nicov’s front gate, denying his main gold mine. In the end, the army combined with Rattan Archers, Trebuchets and cavaliers crashed Nicov’s base.

Game 2

Map: Arabia
Civilization: Nicov – Indians
                     Slam – Huns

Slam’s Men-at-Arm arrived before Nicov’s palisade wall was done but one-villager tower rush did not work too well. At the 20th minute, Slam tried tower rush again with four villagers and twenty archers. It didn’t make much impact as Nicov’s woodline and gold are all in the back. Nicov remained defensive until the fully-upgraded Imperial camels came out to dominate the battlefield.

Game 3

Map: Ghost Lake
Civilization: Nicov – Indians
                     Slam – Britons

Both players went for fast Imperial Age. The Imperial camels were not as strong as last game when countered by British arbalests. The main show was arbalests vs elite elephant archers in the middle field while the map control fight was going on in the south. Nicov spread out his military buildings all over the map and eventually won the game when Slam had no access to gold in late Imperial age.
